Meijer Classic Draft Root Beer Review
Another store-brand root beer. This Meijer Classic Draft Root Beer Review was started with little expectation. We were neither impressed nor depressed by the root beer.
Meijer classic draft root beer is very light in color. The lightest we’ve tested thus far. When poured into a frosted mug, there is good head that is comprised of small and medium bubbles that last a respectable amount of time. It has a good root beer smell, but the flavor is that of sugar with no other discernible ingredients present. This is the case, sadly, with may of the root beers created with artificial flavors and HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup). Even the sugar taste is not all that strong. It is fairly weak in flavor.
Meijer classic draft root beer is fairly carbonated at first, but it goes away quickly.
Meijer Classic Draft Root Beer: “Drink it. Love it.®”
Ingredients: Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, natural and artificial flavor, and potassium benzoate (preservative).
Distributed by Meijer Industries, Inc. and is available at any Meijer store.
We gave the Meijer Classic Draft Root Beer review a score of 2.25 out of 5 stars because there was nothing special about it, good or bad.
“This root beer is good enough for a kid’s birthday party, but not good enough for root beer connoisseurs like us.”
Don’t bother trying this root beer unless you find your self in Meijer with less than a dollar, and a pack of thirsty kids. Actually, even then you could get a gallon of water which the kids would like better than this weak soda.
