Physical Fitness day 7: Doing yoga with my wife
My wife is a physical fitness type. She’s in great shape and does not only yoga, but many other types of exercise. She said she’d do the yoga with me. Yoga with my wife is great. She knows what she’s doing and can tell me if I’m doing it wrong.
We did the P90X Yoga together tonight. As you’ll remember from two days ago, I only made it through the first 30 minutes of the 90 minute DVD. Tonight we did the entire DVD. P90X Yoga is advanced yoga, but has beginner variations for noobs like me. It also has super advanced options for those who aspire to do even more (like my wife)
Physical fitness day 7 diet: Water, about 5 12 oz glasses, too much pop… Probably 30 ounces… Lunch was a chicken taco salad (my usual from California Desert in Milford, Indiana), dinner was a cornbread and Manwich casserole that was suggested on the package of Manwich. It was pretty good, but my wife used her homemade cornbread instead of the jiffy cornbread, and we may have had the bread out of proportion in relation to the Manwich. It was still pretty good.
Physical fitness day 7 exercise: I walked 3 miles, but had to cut it short because of the weather. Like previously mentioned, I did the entire 90 minute P90X yoga with my wife tonight. I had about all I could take of planks and vinyasa poses, and about at that point the DVD switches over to balance poses, giving the shoulders and arms a break. In the yoga with my wife after the first half, the focus turns to balance as well as ab workout. It is very challenging to say the least, but I found it rewarding to finish it. Like I mentioned before I’m going to do yoga at least twice a week from now on. Yoga with my wife will just be a bonus.
A handy father wants the best for himself, and so should his wife! Mine does, and I’m blessed.
