This DIY Brick Patio is a project I helped with by designing, and laying out the pattern as well as doing a lot of the actual brick laying. It is located at my father-in-law’s lot at the local Jellystone campground.
The original brick layout was a simple, and slightly curved 8 brick wide walkway that went about 20′ alongside the camp site. We pulled out a bunch of overgrowth as well as the old brick pathway.
Anchor Ginger Root Beer is a “Soothing Beverage for the Traveler”. I know I’d go traveling just to find a location selling Anchor Ginger Root Beer! It is that good. As of today’s date, Handy Father Root Beer Reviews have only had two root beers that rank higher than this monumental root beer. Those are Virgil’s Root Beer, and Henry Weinhard’s. All three of these brews are unique to each other and have an excellent quality to them.
We recently did a Gale’s Root Beer Review. This brew is made by Chef Gale Gand, and features Cinnamon, Ginger, and Vanilla. A word from Gale Gand – “I Love root beer! While cooking in England some years ago my root beer sources dried up and I was forced to do without. So I get a little brown terrier puppy …Continue reading →
Several windows in my house were missing screens altogether, and had been since we bought the house. I’m doing some DIY window screen building to remedy this situation. I have been somewhat intimidated with DIY window screens myself. Just recently while looking around at my local home improvement store, I saw some kits for DIY window screen building. It looked a lot simpler than I could have hoped.
At the office the other day, we had a man who owns his own business come in, Nicolas Harman, who owns and runs Harman Window Cleaning. Rather than this post being an advertisement I want to extract a few aspects of his business so you can start your own business. I believe there are a few basic principles that I noticed in Harman’s business that you can apply to start your own business.

Where to Start When the Movie Ends, an introduction to help you get started reading comics
There is no denying that superheroes have once again flown, punched, and and charmed their way back into the public spotlight, with tales of fancy and inspiration saturating the silver screen. As one friend of mine put it, “The time of the Nerd has come,” with every corner of pop culture being influenced by what was once thought to only be found in the deep depths of parents’ basements. For some time now, superhero blockbusters dominate the box office, claiming some of each year’s highest grosses, thrilling audiences with spectacular special effects and high flying action. Stories are usually good to great, calling viewers to hope that good will triumph over the evil of the day and that with the right heart, a hero can arise within the common man.
But when the credits roll and the lights come up, where can you go from there?
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Review – “I always thought that I would have more time…” I was sitting in the theater prior to the beginning of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and for a moment I seemed to overhear another viewer complaining that I wore a Green Lantern hoodie to a Spider-Man movie. I wondered, did I just walk onto the …Continue reading →
